Here are some technologies that may be feasible for Kmtyws that should not trap us into euro dependency:

For example, "Hydraform" is the fancy name given by some crakkkers to the materials that we have been using to create our traditional earth homes. They have taken our indigenous knowledge of civil engineering materials and have commercialized it for their own profits.

As Kmtyws our definition of "technology" must be independent of mainstream (read euro) definitions and it must come out of our culture. The coltan issue is just one reason why there must be a split -- just like "history" versus "ourstory."
The ndundu-created technical infrastructure is based on their exploitation/rape/terrorism of our people, their normal culture. Coltan is just one example of one mineral which is the target of their greed, another part of their normal culture.
"Technology" does not have to be a definition that is reserved for laptops, cell phones, video games, and other gadgets-that-Kmtyw-people-do-not-manufacture. Technology can be your practicing of a traditional Kmtyw spiritual system (in a way that it is relevant to our current situation of being at war). Technology can be your knowledge of and application of traditional medicine/healing. Technology is your ability to make a raised-bed garden in an area with less-than-ideal soil conditions.
If we are not locked into non-Kmtyw definitions of technology then it becomes clear how much technology we have the ability to create that does not require us to go to IBM to learn how to make coltan-flavored computer chips.
