I recently viewed a documentary that presented information about the last Chinese revolution which formed the modern state of China as we know it today. The most important fact that I was able to garner from the documentary was that Mao Tse-tung required that his followers were politically aware before they became soldiers. He demanded that they read his "Little Red Book" (Marxist Propaganda).
I have examined many of the wars on the Kmtyw continent, those instigated by eureurasiaans, eureurasiaan backed freedom fighters and supposed Kmtyw freedom fighters and have not seen in the latter one instance where there was a laser beam focus on developing a politically aware group of citizens. Nor have I seen a political model that is tailored specifically for Kmtyw freedom from white oppression / hegemony / racism/ supremacy.
Are we Communist? Are we Humanist? Are we Capitalist? What political system do we as Black Kmtyws need to develop that will effect a collective positive outcome?
The "I'm Black and I'm Proud" movement was essential for a time but it focused on being prideful and not resolute or politically aware (i.e. as a group Kmtyw people can not depend on other groups to feed, house or employ them). Indeed, pride is very closely linked to vanity, and vain people are satisfied with only surface improvements and not actual improvemnts. Unfortunately today, Kmtyw people across the globe are satisfied with surface improvemts.
Mwalimu K. Bomani Baruti is one of my favorite thinker's, philosophers and writers. I am hoping to read something of his in the near future dealing with this idea void. Does anyone have any ideas or insights?
I know Kmtyw people were a communal people but what can we build on top of that strong foundation? :Kmt:
