I'm considering purchasing a crank flashlight. Does anyone have any advice and/or suggestions on these types of flashlights?
Do they really work?
Is there any particular brand that you would recommend?

My Father had a crank flashlight that never stopped working. It didn't seem as strong as battery operated flashlights, but it always worked and never had to buy batteries for it. I don't know who made it, but it got my Father and myself through some dark nights. I need to get one myself.
Don't forget about a manual can opener.
