Part of the Pastor's argument is that Jesus is not a rip off of Heru.  To me it is, or it isn't, there is no gray middle.  Check out the 2 links below, one that debunks the Heru and Jesus similarities and another that demonstrates the parallels between the two stories.

Great! I'm aware of his movies "Ancestral Voices" 1 & 2. Just saw parts of it. He and his wife did a great Job on their documentaries.
