    As much as we might want to avoid discussing this topic, Orisa community is not immune to this abuse. Unfortunately, we had priests (not sure of the present) on the same moral decadent level as the exposed Catholic sexual predators. These priests destroyed innocence when they sexually assaulted minors; they violated TRUST when they sexually abused the children in their care, the children who were just around them, and the children who were entrusted to them. Some of these confirmed and alleged abuses are recent and some are almost four decades old. Priests or no priests, I believe these sexual predators are SICK. Unfortunately, their sicknesses are hidden behind the garb of their priesthood status. Ifa DEFINITELY abhors this practice.
     Secondly, if we think of the legal defense jargon of, "Consenting adults"; how about forming the moral jargon of "Un-consenting minors"? If we do not cleanse our community of sexual predators, for the sake of our children and innocent adults scared into unwilling performance of sexual acts, who will cleanse it for us? The police? May be, may be not. We can do the cleansing ourselves, or in conjunction with whatever else is recommended. After all, law and order was effectively practiced in the ancient system of governance in Orisa Worship—the OGBONIS. Modern practice is good for record keeping; ancient practice is good for control and cure, I mean CURE, because the sick needs to be cured, anyway. I didn't really catch it. What are they saying is the solution specifically?

Also, I read where it stated that Ifa ABHORS the practice of sexually abusing children. Are we speaking of Ifa the spiritual system and/ or Ifa the Orisa? And if Ifa hates this practice then does Ifa also hate the people that practice it?
