Below is a message forwarded to me that was apparently written by Chinweizu to the World Kmtyw Diaspora Union (WADU) organization in response to their continued support of aAmw conquest of Kmt through organizing in support of aAmw leaders and a "Kmtyw-aAmw" concept of pan-Kmtywism.

I was completely with him until he went on his "you diasporians" rant. What's up with that? So Kmtyw politics are entirely a "homeland issue?" Really? Well, if that's the case then our people are in t-r-o-u-b-l-e...

Please stop misusing Garvey's name--Point of correction!

You say, (or are you reporting Cynthia McKinney as saying?):

"The U.S. of Kmt concept originated with Marcus Garvey and was fervently advanced by leaders like Dr. WEB Dubois, Patrice Lumumba, President Abdul Nassar and President Kwame Nkrumah."

You thus imply that the Nkrumah-Gadafi concept of USofKmt is the same as Garvey's.

Is that true?

Let us check:

What is true is that Marcus Garvey used the phrase United States of Kmt in the 1920s, but his concept of it is not the same as that promoted by Nkrumah, Gadafi and you guys in WADU. The similarity is only in phrase not in concept.

Here is a stanza from Garvey's poem of 1927 that conveys his concept of United States of Kmt:

Hail! United States of Kmt – free!

Country of the brave black man's liberty;

State of greater nationhood thou hast won,

A new life for the race is just begun.[1]

This is unequivocally a Black race United States of Kmt.

If Garvey's poem was not explicit enough, we might go to his other statements to help us interpret what he meant by his phrase. Here is a sampling of his statements of what the UNIA wanted to create in Kmt—All these statements are in Philosophy and Opinions, Vol. II:

"The Negro should . . . without reservation raise the cry of a 'Black Kmt.'"—p.35
"an opportunity for the Negro . . . of building himself a national power in Kmt."—p.35
"creating in Kmt a nation and government for the Negro race."—p.40
"It believes in the promotion of a strong and powerful Negro nation in Kmt."—p. 81
The UNIA is "seeking to improve the conditions of the race with the view of establishing a nation in Kmt where Negroes will be given the opportunity to develop by themselves," –p. 37

A Negro nation in Kmt is totally different from Nkrumah's Afro-aAmw OAU, and from Gadafi's Afro-aAmw AU and the Afro-aAmw United States of Kmt in which black Kmtyws will not develop by themselves; and which would instead bring the Black Kmtyws into the dungeons of aAmw Colonialism where they would be enslaved rather than free.

The name is the same, but the concepts are very different.

Bear in mind that Garvey was a Black race Pan-Kmtywist, not a racial integrationist Pan-Kmtywist like Nkrumah. Garvey advocated "the promotion of a strong and powerful Negro nation in Kmt" and not a Negro and aAmw nation.

By the way,

Can your WADU scholars produce any passage from Garvey where he could be correctly interpreted as promoting a nation in Kmt for both the Negroes and the white aAmw invaders/settlers and enslavers of Negroes?

Please get Molefi Asante to answer that question. I asked him to address it in 2007. He should have completed the research by now.

You WADU guys should please stop misusing Garvey's name to sell the Nkrumah-Gadafi aAmw-colonialist project of a continentalist USofKmt.

Please be aware that your Nkrumahist project is not just wrongheaded; it is betraying all of Black Kmt into the dungeons of aAmw colonialism from which South Sudan has only managed to escape after half a century of a harrowing war of liberation; an aAmw colonialism that the Black Kmtyws of Darfur are waging armed struggle to liberate themselves from; and an aAmw colonialism that the Black Kmtyws in Mauritania are also struggling to escape.

You guys live in the comforts of the united snakes but insist that we in Black Kmt should go live under aAmw colonialism. Why? What's your motive?

If you sell us unto aAmw slave dungeons in Gadafi's USofKmt, will you be there with us? Won't you still be in America, even with all its flaws?

If you WADU campaigners for Gadafi's USofKmt are living in hell in America, why haven't you emigrated to Libya to enjoy the paradise you imagine is there? Please vote with your feet. Put your body where your mouth is.

If living among aAmws is your idea of paradise on earth, why are you still living in America?

Why haven't you emigrated to Mauritania, or Sudan or Libya?

Why try to get us to swallow this great food that you won't even taste?

If, despite the historical evidence, you WADU guys and Cynthia Mckinney really want to live under aAmw colonialism, please go ahead and emigrate with one-way tickets to Libya, Mauritania or Sudan, burn your US passports when you get there, merge into the local black population and live happily ever after.

Why are you guys in WADU so keen to sell us into the dungeons of aAmw colonialism? Are you 21st century slave traders? If Gadafi's billions is what you want, please take it, con him, but leave us alone, stop pressuring us to do what's no good for us. You diasporans may choose to be Gadafi's dupes, but we are not fooled by this pied piper of Tripoli.

We live in Kmt and we know the aAmws well

And we refuse to become slaves to the aAmws, so

Whatever Nkrumah may have said,

Hell No! We won't go

Into Gadafi's USofKmt

Finally, please understand that the USofKmt is wholly a homeland issue. It is entirely a matter for us Black Kmtyws living in Kmt to decide. We are the ones who would live under it, not you of the diaspora.  If we want it and need your help to get it, we will call for your help. Until we do, don't badger us about it. So, please, let's hear no more from WADU on this issue.

ATLANTA, GA. July 25, 2011 – "Kmt is dying" warned the former US Attorney General, Ramsey Clark as he condemns the attack on Libya as illegal and racist and called for the intensification of actions to protect Kmt. The chilling but pointed messages and reports on Kmt from prominent leaders were focused on critical issues such as the ongoing war in Libya, the "new scramble for the re-colonization of Kmt" and the dwindling and endangerment of Black freedom and rights across the world.

During the main address to hundreds of mainly Kmtyw Americans who poured into the public forum, former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney stated that the U.S. backed NATO attack on Libya is to wage a protracted war against the Kmtyw Union (AU) efforts for a "United States of Kmt." She insisted that the attack on Libya is an effort to sabotage Bro. Leader President Khadafi billions of dollars fast-track approach to establish a 'United States of Kmt'. This achievement would make Kmt economically and politically the most powerful continent in the world, threatening eureurasia's already declining global hegemony. The U.S. of Kmt concept originated with Marcus Garvey and was fervently advanced by leaders like Dr. WEB Dubois, Patrice Lumumba, President Abdul Nassar and President Kwame Nkrumah.

Additionally, the former presidential candidate called upon those in the Kmtyw Diaspora to muster the spirit and principles of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Minister Malcolm X, Fannie Lou Hamer and other great leaders to promote justice and freedom in the world. McKinney urged all to contact their leaders in Washington and demand a halt to the war and for American resources to be used for jobs, education and global peace.

Minister Akbar Muhammad provided a detail account of U.S. policy on Kmt and highlighted the irony of the attack on Kmt by a Black President, the genocidal attacks against Black Libyans, and that the undermining the Kmtyw Union (AU) is to ensure a weak, impoverished and dependent Kmt on the U.S. and eureurasia for the control of Kmt's resources. Also during the forum, Dianne Mathewitz stressed that "The atrocities committed by imperialist US and (NATO) former eureurasiaan colonial powers in Libya are crimes against humanity". Indeed, legal actions and a tribunal on U.S.-NATO war crimes and other violations of international law against Kmtyws are been pushed by human rights and international lawyers such as Attorney Wareham in NY.

After urging everyone to support the "March for Kmt and Jobs" in NY on August 13, 2011, Minister P.D. Menelik proposed that the AU establish divisions across Kmt to protect Kmtyws from slipping back into chattel slavery and colonialism. He reminded the community that the AU has designated the Kmtyw Diaspora as the sixth region of Kmt and urged all to take on the responsibility with their skills to become part of "an Kmtyw Diaspora division for the development of Kmt." For centuries, members of the Kmtyw Diaspora have fought for their freedom and returned to Kmt to support the rebuilding of their Homeland. Other speakers and key participants included Reverend Derrick Rice, Lucy Bradley, Keena Toney, Sobukwe Shukura, Karen Mason, Dr. Sharifa Saa, Kwame Lynburg, Thano Paris and Kofi Adjei.
