Ill!! I'm loving it. I wonder if I would be correct in stating that we learn of these arts from our respective deities of war AND we innovate as well or if we just made them up ourselves.

Htp Sn Pain. I've heard both explanations. One explanation is that we received these systems from the divinities. Another explanation is that the various Kmtyw martial systems were developed over time in-line with the environmental, political, and cultural challenges of the ethnic group in question.

Is it possible to be both at the same time? That our Divinities used and continue to use various means to teach us including, but not limited to environmental, political and cultural challenges?

This type of view would be more consistent with an Kmtyw understanding of Kmtyw divinity as that which permeates our existence.

Asante ndugu Obadele. I agree. I don't mean to imply false dichotomies. In the Kmtyw worldview both of these explanations are in fact singular.
