Greetings,

I practice boxing and try to practice other martial arts form in my free time. I was wondering if there are any ancient Kmtyw exercises that may be forgotten but has been said to increase combat speed and/or reaction time. If we take for example the ancient Spartan warriors - considered the greatest warriors of that era - who trained solely calisthenics using exercises we use today like push-ups and pull-ups, aren't there likely exercises from ancient times that can help in building speed or reaction? In my experience, simple movements like learning how to hop from one place to another, can help increase your movement drastically if done properly and correctly. I was hoping anyone could link me towards possible exercises designed for increasing reflexes and speed. Thanks in advance.

Also anyone familiar with Odapofu? It's supposed to be an Kmtyw martial arts that applies a lot of breathing for blocks and strikes but I can't find anything about it.
