Did you catch the part where he mentioned the brother unifying all of Panama coastline ? I immediately thought here is another pre 1900 act of pan-Kmtywism.

Actually the fact that the Kmtyws in the islands sought to unify and support each other in liberation was the historical backdrop for Henry Sylvester Williams, C.L.R. James and others from there.

As soon as he mentioned it the lightbulb went off.  Also in a side conversation he mentioned that he taught at a HBCU in Colombia founded in 2000. They are learning Kmtyw languages and history too...
