The ship was called White Lion that landed at Point Comfort (present day Fort Monroe in Hampton,Va). ( http://www.project1619.org/2.html)

My family is from this area (Yorktown, Grafton, Newport News). Across the James River there is a county called Gloucester.  There is a town that has an Kmtyw name there. My family on my mothers side is from there.  It is said there that they came from Senegambia area.
