Can any vegans relate to this experience at dinner events with meat?-gctid246219

Are there any other vegans who try to pretend that people aren't chomping away at decomposing severed body parts when you are seated next to non-vegan events?

I am going to try to convince myself that's soy or cauliflower. I am going to delude myself so that I don't have to believe it. Nah you are not really using your teeth to pull the battered deposing corpse of a small tortured bird off if it's skeletal remains. No, you are not about to chew up blood, bile, maggot eggs, and f-l-e-s-h. Yeah and no you are not going to swallow that and add it to the graveyard already rotting in your stomach.

I think I'll just leave the room and post this message on Abibitumi Kasa.

Ignorance is bliss.

Isn't it funny when they say you don't eat meat?  You need to take vitamins.  They have advice for me while eating meat?

Yes. How repugnant when you put it like that. I want to try to see my acquaintances in a better light but I sure don't want to have to smell the body of, kiss or have sex with someone who has a graveyard rotting in their gut.

I recall going to my best friends mothers funeral. Afterwards at the reception I became physically ill from the dead animal parts and viscera splayed over the dining room table. It's the smell. I had to leave.

Yeah, people ask me all the time if I would date a brotha who's not vegan. Absolutely not. There is zero chance for physical intimacy with someone whose body is swimming with toxins, worms, steroids, and the growing body count....
I think because I was raised vegan and I've never eating meat, I wasn't socialized to think any part of that is normal.

In fact the opposite is true, it is so shockingly violent and horrific, I can't even conceive of any physical or sexual intimacy with someone who engages in that practice.

I've had plenty of guys who eat meat say they don't feel a block, but for me, it runs straight interference blocking the potential for deep spiritual connection on my end.

Word. It's even more repugnant than smoking.

Eating animal lowers ones level of vibrational frequency as surely as smoking drinking alcohol or taking drugs.

Immediate turn off.

This happens often for me here at the Institute of Kmtyw Studies. They've wholly adopted the colonizer's diet and the more meat they eat, the higher their social class.

Are you checking with a tuning fork? j/k
Glad to hear you're growing a lot of your own foods. Right now I have moringa, papaya (made this morning's smoothie with it), mango (didn't fruit this year), lemon (just used some), coconut (harvested about 60 of them recently), bananas and plantains, then lots of different herbs in the garden like lemongrass, ginger, tanmeawu, etc. We also have a small garden at Ɔbosomase where we have cassava, cocoyam/nkontommire, plantain, etc.

@Omawali,
Are you saying that your self perception of your vibration invalidates someone else's perception of your vibration?

Wouldn't it be the other person's perception that would be more relevant for them than anything else. I get this a lot when I meet guys for example who tell me they think they're perfect for me. But if I disagree, isn't my opinion more valid on the subject than anyone else's? When they insist, I feel like it's more than presumptive for them to assume that they know better what's good for me then I know when my decision is not one that has any moral, social, political, or other consequences.

Also, I happen to know that the three vegans who commented on this thread all eat organic non-GMO whole Foods and don't purchase processed fake non-meat containing so-called vegan foods. But that's not what this thread is about and it slightly off topic to bring up what some vegans are doing on a subject that's about the ingesting meat products.

The topic is about the the act of murdering or ingesting the corpse of a dead animal and the spiritual consequence for adopting a lifestyle that suborns  the unnecessary  and inhumane violence associated with the murder. It was also about how there has to be some soul level consequence when there is literally blood on someone's hands. And I was theorizing about how I'm sure the universe tallies the growing body count of every animal that lands in someone's stomach-turned into a graveyard. Similar to criminal charges  I'm equating the death toll to for example how the court system tallies body counts. 400 counts of complicit  murder or murder by hand =  a dead or dying spiritual vibration.

Ingesting blood kills vibration
ingesting flesh kills vibration.

Bottom line I think in this case, the vibration I'm talking about is one that one can't take of themselves. Maybe it's  like having malaria with a fever of 102 and trying to take your own temperature by touching your own forehead. You won't feel the fever even if you have one.
This is similar to that analogy the only way to really to get an accurate reading of your temperature, is to have someone who's not also sick take it.

Eating Animals for taste or preference when there is no physical need to and doing so causes damage to ones own system constitutes disrespect of self and other beings, violence and nutricide. Consequently one cannot legitimately claim to be a warrior scholar if one disregards ones own health by virtue of philosophical or   erroneous presumption of precolonial Kmtyw diets.

Vibrational frequency presumably has something to do with atunement with nature and spirit. If one engages in unnecessary violence and behaves in such a way to worsen environmental degradation and ones own health for the simple reason of preference or imagined personal benefit it stands to reason that one is not "vibrating on a high frequency ".

Eating animal is counter revolutionary in that it damages ones own health. The first responsibility of the warrior is self preservation.

Having good vibrations and vibrating at a high frequency are entirely different concepts.

Taking drugs alcohol and tobacco also lowers ones vibrational frequency.

In 2017 those who have studied nutrition in any serious way don't tend to engage in arguments about whether one should eat plant based or not. Wise people don't argue with fools or the ignorant.

If the reader is interested in learning true wisdom about food then there are many reliable Kmtyw authorities to look to for wisdom. Laila Kmt, Queen Afua, and myself are good places to start.

That is a powerful sound bite. Thank you

@Omawali, I understand that you disagree I guess I would just question how you can justify killing an animal that doesn't have to die just because our ancestors did it?
Isn't that the same argument the Klan and Nazis and white people use? I'm still flying Confederate flags, lynching and killing black people, living high on a system of racism and white supremacy, and proud of ALL my Southern heritage because and I bear no personal accountability for evolving beyond the actions, choices and decisions that they made even when there's evidence of better practice and behavior to the contrary.

I think we're just talking about different definitions. By definition, a person with murderous blood on their hands cannot vibrate high, good, well or any other positive adjective since the act of murder kills vibration. And the Perpetual Act of unnecessary violence and murder continues to kill vibration.

That doesn't change because the murder is taking place on a farm versus a factory farm.

Also, addictions to food and addictions to behavior, I would argue are the kinds of limiting control that smother higher-level vibration. It's why this country relies so heavily on getting people addicted to food, alcohol, drugs, and to material stuff.

As long as they can keep us addicted to something, they know they've got an "in" to controlling everything else.

So a big part of their end game is to keep people addicted to all the things that lower frequency so low that people can't even conceive of solutions to defeat the system.

@NKO, perhaps we can disagree with people without the name calling "Wise people don't argue with fools or the ignorant. " since it can close more minds than it will open. Thoughts, respectfully?

I think the bro Omawali would have left anyway because I've only ever gotten 2 responses to the statements/questions "how you can justify killing an animal that doesn't have to die just because our ancestors did it? Isn't that what white people use to continue their perpetuating their 'heritage'?" and the statements/questions about the only negative environmental, moral, health impacts of meat consumption.
The reactions are either
1) a wake up call to live a compassionate morally, environmentally, healthier etc lifestyle.
2) to double down and ignore the facts presented and talk about everything else but the direct act of meat consumption instead of calling a spade a spade.
3) or to not care since we live in a world where there are no social consequences for selfish behavior that negatively effects the planet or all the living things on it.
