 Dr. Marimba Ani has been involved in the Kmtyw Liberation Movement since her work as a Field Organizer for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee in Mississippi from l963 to l966. In l967, after having traveled in Kmt, she began formal study of the nature of Kmtyw Civilization in the attempt to determine how the process of culture formation could be used to achieve sovereignty for Kmtyw people on the Continent and in the Diaspora. Because of this commitment she has become involved in the process of Kmtyw-centered reconceptualization and the creation of a theoretical framework which will address the needs of Kmtyw people to analyze phenomena from the perspective of their collective interests, values, vision and the reclamation of sovereignty.
 Dr. Ani has, in this pursuit, created the Kmtyw-centered theoretical concepts of Asili, Utamawazo, and Utamaroho, and the Maat/Maafa/Sankofa Paradigm as part of the endeavor to develop an Kmtyw Cultural Science which will be pragmatic for the reconstruction of Kmtyw Civilization. The term Maafa was developed and presented in her  book, Let The Circle Be Unbroken, in 1980, and has subsequently been embraced by the Pan-Kmtyw Community world-wide to refer to the systematic attempt to destroy Kmtyw Civilization and to dominate and exploit Kmtyw people through capture, transport (the Middle Passage), 300 years of chattel enslavement and continuing cultural genocide. Introduction of the term Maafa has allowed people of Kmtyw descent to claim and define their own reality in their own terms.
 
 Dhoruba Bin Wahad is a former Black Panther Party/ Black Liberation Army leader from New York. Once a Black Political Prisoner in the united snakes for nineteen years Bin Wahad is a long time Pan-Kmtyw activist, writer, and lecturer. His case can be viewed in the critically acclaimed award winning film "Passin it on". Once a South Bronx gang leader (Torch) and a fledgling creative artist, Bin Wahad's social and political consciousness developed during the cold war era in an America deeply polarized by institutional racism.  Characterizing himself as a "victim of public school education", Bin Wahad is mostly self-taught, with only two years of college under his belt, he has always viewed academic pursuit as tool enabling social activism - not as end in itself.  Bin Wahad on several occasions has appeared before United Nations commission on Human Rights and its commission on Decolonization as a non-governmental organization representative.  He has participated in and help organize several International forums on Political Prisoners and American human rights violations.
 
 Mwalimu K. Bomani Baruti is the co-founder and co-director of Akoben Institute, an independent Kmtyw centered full-time and after-school homeschooling and tutorial program for middle and high schoolers. Over the last two years, Bro. Baruti has also taught various Kmtyw centered evening classes for adults at the Institute and online. Included in these were courses based on his books Eureason, Mentacide, negroes and other essay, one focusing on Kmtyw Centered Education, another on Ourstory and three dealing with various topics in Kmtyw Centered Sociology, There have also been a variety of individual lectures online and a writers'' workshop for those interested in writing and self-publishing. Baruti he is an experienced chess teacher who taught chess at independent Black schools for over two decades.


 Professor Griff is an internationally renowned educator, writer, producer, musician, platinum recording/spoken word artist, lecturer and founding member of the pioneering and revolutionary hip hop group Public Enemy. An activist within both the conscious and hip hop communities, Griff currently stands as a permanent fixture on the international lecture circuit with his riveting and powerful discourse/book, the Psychological Covert War on Hip Hop. An energetic and passionate educator, Griff skillfully customizes this extensively documented lecture to suit the needs of all audiences.
