"Well, tonight marks the final class for The Last Black Man Standing and it has been a very educational and meaningful experience. We examined, to some extent, the external factors that led to the "collapse and demise" of Black people on u.s. soil. However, our main focus was on some of the internal (meaning those factors related directly to Black people- our behaviors, values, and Subtle Suicide), I think others could really benefit from the class- even tho it deals with basic information, we can't assume everyone knows this life saving info.

Of course, there are far deeper issues, thoughts and paradigms that could be presented in the course, but we must start with the basics and then move to higher and deeper levels. And we must take the information gained and organize it into a meaningful context and make it work -toward Liberation

When we begin to internalize and IMPLEMENT the ideas coming out of The Last Black Man Standing and The Last Book, then we can start really making headway.

One of the questions at the end of LBMS is: 'Do you think this story is really a message to you from The Ancestors? Think about it. Another question- Based on what you have done in your life and with your life, at this point, do you think you could see yourself as LBMS or LBWS (Last Black Woman Standing)? Explain why or why not. Remember, LBMS is in the future and he is looking back on all the mistakes we are making RIGHT NOW that are leading to the collapse and demise of our race (on u.s. soil).'"

The Abibitumikasa on-line six week course, "The Last Black Man Standing" was very successful.
  The idea for the course was based on the book by the same title: The Last Black Man Standing is the only survivor of our race, on u.s.soil, and he is tape recording his analysis of how and why Black people were forced into extinction. The LBMS is in the future and he is looking back at us, and our behaviors today. Much of what the book outlines are things that could not be said to most Black people, as LBMS said, because Black people refused to heed his words and would have been offended if they were given any real truth. In fact, as LBMS said, in the questions to be answered at the end of the book,
 "they were on a non-stop path of self-destruction". If this were true, was there a way to alter the course and avert the impending collapse and demise Black people were headed toward"?
 
 Other important questions at the end of the text, designed to get the reader to do critical thinking and critical evaluation, include:
* List and discuss at least five things you think the LBMS did to BECOME the LBMS?
* Based on your current habits, interests, knowledge, and outlook, do you think you qualify as a co-conspirator in the demise of our race?
* Will the Black Man and Black Woman ever wake up?
 In summary, the course, a parallel to the book, was not a total analysis of Black people today. We examined just some of the more obvious aspects and behaviors of Black people relative to beliefs, the various established groups, the Black man and his behavior, the Black woman and her behavior, how we spent our money (from the point of view of LBMS), the role of food, health and nutrition, the media and more. Additionally, there was discussion on learning about "systems"
  The back cover of the book states, "We had been a very BEAUTIFUL and loving people; we were such BLACKNIFICENT people, BEFORE THE INVADERS!!!!
 So, here we are, and the LBMS is asking you to come and learn how to save yourself and your family because OUR TIME IS RUNNING OUT! And this is no joke!!
