We find many different number systems used throughout Kmtyw culture. The Ishango Bone (Found in NW Congo at the beginning of the White Nile) suggests the development of both a decimal (base 10) number system as well as a binary (base 2) number system. The basis for the binary system is the concept of doubling: 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64...

The same combination of decimal and binary numbers was later adopted in ancient KMT and can be seen most famously in their/our method of multiplication by doubling:

1. Align the two factors horizontally as shown above
2. In the first column begin with 1 and double until you have a sum of numbers that is equal to that factor (i.e. (1+2+4+8=15))
3. In the second column begin with that factor and double the same amount of times that you did in the first column.
4. Then choose the terms in the right column that correspond to the terms that you used in the first column to add to get the first factor. (i.e. since 1, 2, 4, and 8 were chosen from the first column 13, 26, 52, and 104 are chosen from the second column. If one of the numbers in the first column was not chosen then the number that is directly across from it in the right column is also not chosen).
5. Sum the numbers in the right column that you chose.

The concept of doubling (or the binary number system) represents an important Kmtyw principle. The binary system represents the Kmtyw concept of Sîmba Sîmbi. We stand on the shoulders of our Nananom:

One last note. What is shown above is your parents' parents' kwk. This is not including your aunts, uncles, great aunts, kwk...These are Kmtyws whose blood literally run through your veins. These are Kmtyws who fought for their/our liberation in the Maafa, just like we are doing.
