What are your thoughts on this book? I couldn't find a bio on the author, however it says the author has 6 years of experience in the language.

I don't know him directly, but he seems to a student of Rkhty Amen.

After scanning through the book, I'm very impressed. It is really written for beginners. However I will give a better review once I complete the book in 30 days.

I read Sesh Medew Netcher and I noticed the author plagerized certain passages from a few sources. It's really embarrassing that the author thought he could get away with this without us knowing.

I still haven't purchased this book. Every time that I think to do so, something else comes up. Now though, I may never. This is quite unfortunate. I would have expected much much more.

I did purchase it. I only read the Intro and Chap 1 and had to put it down for other things I'm working on. It is unfortunate about the plagiarism. I still can't continue it at this point but my radar will be on the highest alert now.

Attached are two instances of plagiarism in Brother Wudjau's book "A Beginner's Introduction to Medew Netcher"

As exhibited in the attachment, Brother Wudjau ripped whole passages from James P. Allen's book "Middle Egyptian: An Introduction to The Language and Culture of Hieroglyphs"

Although Brother Wudjau references James Allen's work at the end of his book, who rips whole passages? At least put the effort into rewriting it and properly citing it.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were other rips from other texts in addition to these. This is as blatant as it gets and if he was my student I'd throw the book at him (pun intended).

That is thoroughly unacceptable. The ultimate tragedy is that it reflects upon us as a scholarly community, as people who purport to be experts in this domain.

You're right! I just noticed another instance of plagiarism, see attached. Apparently, by replacing the name Egyptian with Ranykemet or Sesh Medew Netcher the passage becomes more original.

I bet Brother Wudjau is young and from the "copy and paste" generation.
