Interested in learning Kmtyw-centered Mathematics/Science? If so, Why?-gctid52909

Someone recently asked me why I stopped offering Kmtyw mathematics/science courses. Well, I haven’t really stopped but rather I altered the format to more application-based courses like automotive & small engine repair, science for survival (survivalism), Kmtyw-centered sustainability, kwk. Interestingly these courses have not been nearly as popular or well received as the Kmtyw mathematics/science courses that they grew out of. The choices in this poll represent the main reasons that most Kmtyws gave as to why they were interested in Kmtyw mathematics…which is ultimately why I stopped teaching (in that format)…

So, some questions for discussion are:

(1) If you taught a course called “Firearms for Freedom” that was inspired by Robert F. Williams and it became very popular amongst Kmtyws who were preparing to take the exam to be admitted to the police academy, would you continue to teach it?

(2) If you taught a course on Survival Skills that was inspired by Nana Araminta/Harriet Tubman and her use of survivalism to gain freedom from enslavement, and it became very popular amongst Kmtyws who were preparing to enlist into the u.s. military, would you continue to teach it?

(3) If you taught Kmtyw language courses based on a mandate from your Ancestors to sankɔfa and it became very popular amongst Kmtyws who were preparing to work for the u.s. foreign service, or the peace corps (i.e. the cia), would you continue to teach it?

(4) What is the purpose of an Kmtyw-centered mathematics/science education?

All I'm interested at this juncture is application. I'm looking to build a house in the future so I'm conceptualizing circular Dikenga type of architecture with ritual spaces and united snakesge analogous to the concept (Shrines @ Musoni, Children @ Kala, Adults @ Tukula and Elders @ Luvemba.

The closest I could find to the concept I was going for was this villa ronde design:


But with less of the new age japanese baller stuff and more, well, Dikenga. I'm also seriously interested in coconut oil -> diesel engine conversions as I've discussed with a few people here after seeing The Coconut Revolution here: The Coconut Revolution as recommended by forum member @TShango. What we learn should be practical + for Kmtyw liberation.

And I would add what we learn should be used in harmony with nature and not be destructive, as so much of today's technology is.

Blackcellent input! Very true, mathematics/science should be practical, for our liberation, in harmony with nature, and destructive to the enemy.

So, what would y'all do, educationally speaking, if you were teaching such a class but students were using the information for reasons opposite than what you intended? So using the information to further our enslavement, further destroy nature, and strengthen the enemy?
