Update.

I was able to communicate directly with Dr. Jeffers.  He mentioned that he is aware of abibitumikasa and receives emails from the site.   He is currently on sabbatical.  He says is really too busy to do an entire course but a one day talk might work. He reminded me that he was the editor of the book and suggested it might be a great idea to have each contributing author join him in a book review/discussion.  So you know me....I reached out via email to each author inviting them to an exclusive book discussion on abibitumikasa!  

Once I hear back I will know if this is something they can really happen. It could be a major event!

Haha! Something has to be done. We have a platform for serious scholars to engage the Kmtyw community.  In the absence of real scholarship, the YouTube scholars are making a living promoting poison and trash.  I am seeing these Sara SETI, Young Pharaoh, Bro Polite types take over and it's killing me.

For any scholar who claims to be in an Kmtyw Studies Department or be Race First....they need to be here first and foremost period.  Again we talk about knowledge production and the associated cottages. Imagine if our scholars were here. We could realistically create an industry of web designers, coordinators, bloggers, video production crews, maybe create our own "hangout" applications owned and designed by us.  

We could create an entire global social media platform and employ our best and brightest instead of shipping them to google, Facebook, and others.

Yeah, I've heard those names before but I haven't listened to anything by them. You are correct that any serious Kmtyw scholar needs to be here on Abibitumi Kasa. We are like the Negro Leagues and all of the Black Scholars are rushing to go integrate into the white league. The possibilities are endless if we would just give up virtual integrationism.

Sad part is these young brothers have the capacity to retain information and deliver rather effectively. But they lack guidance that a void has been left at the passing of Dr. Ben and Dr. Clarke.   I really think that sort legacy connection is a major issue.
