Wow this is a recurring discussion.  The thoughts of the sister are the core of the mindset. She seems very more sincere in her quest for understanding than most though. The "these things happened for a reason" mindset is one of the main talking points.  Most use this to validate the entire Hebrew Israelite thing.    Most try to use this to fit he story into a plagiarized story by invaders.  I think she mentioned that if we had not gone through our experiences we would not be who we are today. In a way I understand what she is saying.  Where I part is this notion of preserving.  Preserving and stealing is very different.  What happened is stealing of our information. If that stolen information is not preserved in thought and understanding it is no longer preservation but an intentional act which has ramifications.

This understanding of looking at the primary sources and such where our ancestors described exactly who they were....this will be dismissed immediately because it does not fit the narrative or the original intent of the plagiarism.  

They will tie our maafa as our destiny and we had to go through it as our path.  They say the Bible prophesied of it. It's a difficult discussion because most will not look to the primary resources especially from Kemet.

I think your last example of someone cutting your neck can be expanded.  

What we are talking about to tie the discussion together is compare what the Hebrews claim and the person who had the knife who cut your neck. We are talking about intent in both cases.  The people who they say "preserved" our ancestors knowledge had clear intentions as we can read and understand.  Similar to the person with the knife. If they had the intent to do that and give you the ability to rotate your neck more than they had good intentions. But if they were just trying to stab a brotha and could care less about you rotating your neck. They wanted to kill you we can say although both have the same act they can have different intended outcomes.  We can see that the Hyksos had very clear intentions and to support it they lied, plagiarized, etc.  even to the point where today Kmtyws who  subscribe to these teachings will have to adapt those lies even to the detriment of themselves by saying they are not Kmtyws, then all the other baggage of the curses in the Bible and on and on...they had to then deny themselves the right to accept all the knowledge of their ancestors in the Nile Valley before the Bible...

It's a discussion that often times leads to emotional rationalization and not primary source based from anything outside of the Bible...

I guess it's difficult for those who identify as half-Black/hAlfrican. Many seem to go the extra length to salvage their white mothers or fathers from condemnation for their atrocities. I'm thinking primarily in the biological sense, but also those who have ideological/spiritual/etc. white parents. Then what do you say to someone who is committed to saving the half that doesn't need saving while short-changing the one that does by instinctively "protecting" the white part from accountability, truth, justice and Ma'at as a whole? This is what Nana Chancellor Williams told us about and we see it over and over again.

The thing that gets me is when people say " I am trying to understand their point of view and be open minded" -on the flip side that is not reciprocated at all generally when we find ourselves in these sort of discussions.  If we understood that eureurasians had no "open-mind" when they sought to "save" us and bring the gospel to our ancestors.  Somehow this history is forgotten.  This is a learned behavior as documented in How To Make a Negro Christian.   The key word is "make". Analysis is thrown out and replaced with belief.

The beauty of these recorded classes is people can go back and listen on their own to continue to grow.  I know I do each time.

I was just thinking when the student was like this isn't my foundation or something like that and I was thinking "the course is foundations of Kmtyw Thought" not foundations of how to protect one's white parent from Ma'at.

Nice share. Dr. Clarke says on multiple occasions that the bible is folklore, but then speaks about some of the characters in it as though they are historical figures.

Very true.  I never could understand that.  He would often say that it they were male chauvinistic cults on one hand then I am. It saying leave Christianity or use for your liberation or throw it in the trash can.  I always wondered if this was just to keep people listening and open to the information.
