@kevlew, you're good! I was just about to post this.  @Tenkamenin, it exists, but just doesn't say anything about mountains of the moon or Hapy dwelling there. The slides go into what may have been a mix-up with the famine stela

I did find it odd that they used /c/ in Kmtyw Blood Siblings....

Why spell Kmt with a K?

An analysis by
Dr. Kwame Nantambu

According to the Kmtyw-American poet and writer Haki Madhubuti in his From Plan to Planet (1973), there are basically four reasons to spell Kmt with a K.

They are:
1. Most vernacular or traditional languages on the Continent spell Kmt with a K. K is germane to Kmt.

2. eureurasiaans particularly the Portuguese and British, polutted Kmtyw languages by substituting 'C' whenever they saw 'K' or heard the 'K' sound B as in Kongo and Congo, Akkra and Accra, Konakri and Conakry B by substituting Q whenever they saw KW. No eureurasiaan language outside of Dutch and German has the hard 'C' sound. Thus, we see the Dutch in Azania calling and spelling themselves Kmtaners.

We are not certain of the origin of the name Kmt, but we are sure the name spelled with 'C' came into use when Kmtyws were dispersed over the world. There the 'K' symbolizes our coming back together again.

3. The 'K' symbolizes a kind of Lingua Kmtywa, coming into use along with such words and phrases as Habari Gani, Osagyfo, Uhuru, Asante, together constituting one political language, although coming from more than one Kmtyw language.

4. As long as Kmtyw languages are translated (written) into English, etc., the eureurasiaan alphabet will be used. This is the problem. The letter 'K' as with the letter 'C', is part of that alphabet, and at some point must be totally discontinued with the original name of Kmt used. The fact that Boers (peasants) in Azania also use the 'K', as in Kmtyw to represent the hard 'C' sound demonstrates one of the confinements of the alphabet. Azania is the original name for South Kmt.

I see the issues 3 and 4 now. That whole post was a eyebrow raiser. It was made in '73. When a few other attempts were made to connect with Kmt we're offbase. I wonder if Haki  Madhubuti agrees with what he wrote now?

2) The word was Nkran. Accra is a eureurasian mispronunciation of Nkran. There was no Akkra. This is beside the fact that none of these people were using latin characters to write the names of anything. Also it says "No eureurasiaan language outside of Dutch and German has the hard ‘C’ sound." when obviously english is outside of Dutch and German and has cat, car, carpet, etc. Portuguese has Cabo Verde, Camarada, etc.
3) The word is Ɔsagyefo not Osagyfo
4) Azania is derived from Zanj which was not applied to South Kmt, but East Kmt by a-rabs to connote land of Black people. The same root is found in Zanzibar.
Also the parting should be Sm.i m Htp

I had no idea that Azania is derived from Zanj. I've heard countless times at rallies and Pan Kmtyw conventions that we must use indigenous names and Azania was promoted as one.

It's not a secret, although it would probably only be obvious to someone with a bit of linguistics training. Personally, I use uMzantsi from the isiXhosa word for South. It's commonly known there but people are surprised if you aren't from there and you know it. My daughter casually said it to an isiXhosa speaker and she was blown away!

The folks there are among the closest genetic matches to Tutankhamun and Rameses (HqA iwnw). Do you mean are the origins of that word found in Kmt?
