Nice! I love a good Zumba routine. Tomorrow I start back with my personal trainer. 7/5 marks 60 days before my birthday! 👀

Woforo dua pa a, yɛpia wo.

If you climb a good tree, we push you.

Sɛ Onyankopɔn pɛ a, I'm going to Ghana in September to shoot some shows on economic development. If a brotha can trim down 15lbs before I go to Ghana, I will easily lose an additional 10 lbs when I'm in Ghana.

Immediate actions I'm taking,

Reducing my fufu balls in half

Reducing  my kenkey balls in half

Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables

Replacing my lattes and coffee with smoothies

Also, starting tomorrow I'm upping my workout routine to  include Capoeira training, kete/adowa dancing, boxing, cardio and weight lifting.

Next to the rowing machine battle ropes are my favorite. That workout is not a joke. Welcome back  @KRS2.

PS: I was freaking out about turning 40. Two weeks into life at 40 is...... the same as life at 25...26....27...30....35...38...39...  lol

So glad we are all doing this challenge together.

Akwaaba @Tenkamenin,
Love the goals. Coffee to smoothie one is seriously admirable. You brothers are not playing with your fitness activities. Nice!

LET'S GET IT!

Struggle is real.... I am going to be good to go though.   I know what happened. Sitting in the hard stadium seats all day Saturday did it.

Indeed! Thank you for initiating it!

I had a great day yesterday, I started the day with a 24 oz mango, banana, pineapple, ginger smoothie as a coffee replacement. When the coffee urge kicked in I drunk warm lemon water. The only bummer is that I did not get to the gym yesterday, however I did walk 4 miles in total to the nearest market and bought some plantains and whipped this simple masterpiece,

1 plantain boiled
2 tomatoes chopped
1/2 onions chopped
1 jalapeño
A pinch of salt

Mid afternoon I got hungry, and luckily I packed some grapes and cherries as a boost me up snack. However, today I will have to pack a salad to go with the grapes because I ate like a pig when I got home that evening.

Looks yummy! Who needs a gym? That 4 miles was a workout in itself
