A verse of an Odu Ifa says in part:
Mo de ire
I came in at the right time
Mo rin ire
I walked in at the right time
Irin asiko ni mo mọọ rin ni ẹsẹ mejeeji (ati bẹẹ bẹẹ)
I surely know how to take the right steps , etc

A day hardly passes without some form of new ventures in human life. Whether we are retired, or we are part of the work force; whether we are nurturers, or we are part of the group being prepared for the future; our decision making is constant. Most times, our decisions are micro and localized; sometimes, however, our decisions are macro, and beyond boundaries. A micro and localized decision might be in the form of a family member making a decision to hold a family together, regardless of the size of an enveloping storm; or, it might be in the form of a neighborhood watchdog deciding to save a neighborhood from the erosion of bad influence. Then on the macro level, every time we are involved in international affairs, be on the level of government, or on a business level, we are making some conscious macro decisions. Whenever we venture out of the region that Odumare deliberately planted us to be, and visit other geographical locations of the world, such visit would be nothing short of the result of some conscious macro decisions. For instance, to further accelerate our macro decisions, a virtual world was created in the form of the internet. With the internet, our decisions seem no more restrictive and borderless—the internet became an avenue for a really super macro decisions.

Whether an individual's decision is micro, or a collective decision is macro, what matters most is the nature of the decision and the quality of the decision. In this era of insecurity of livelihoods, which in turn threatens human dignity, looking at life, forging ahead with life, and making a determined positive effort for a better life tomorrow, should be the new venture when making our micro and macro decisions.

Just as Ajojigodogbo overcame his predicament—with shining result—when he underwent the most challenging human endeavor, so may our country The United States of America, and the world at large, bounce back from the current entangling financial challenge. Ase. On our micro levels, may our decisions and our new ventures be divinely guided, today and every day of our lives. Ase. A ji ire ni oni o (we wake up with ire today—"Good Morning").
