If I play any music at all while I paint, I learned to play it VERY SOFTLY.

Lately, 'Noize in the Hood' is coming from right across the street! A handful of youths in my vilage loook like they are rehearsing; traditional dancing. Though they have been playing Tswana music, it is of the modern type; with guitar instruments and all. I was also worried because I was wondering how far the act will go since they are dancing to someone elses recorded music. Some local Kmtyws say people are making fools of themselves going around the world putting on shows dressed scantily in animal skins.. because our communities are 'modernizing' and 'we even have an urban culture' - i.e. we are giving the world the impression that we are 'backwards', still 'hunting and gathering'. But even our language is disappearing..

It would be a traditional Tswana song, (probably with no copyright ownership). It sounds a little better (than the guitar music) for a traditional dancing troupe; but even from where I sit it's louder than I would play to myself.
