Yènge Malongo! Sorry it took me a little while to get back with some feedback.

Do you practice Palo Mayombe ? Because I just found two documents on Palo Mayombe and in one of them there's a prayer which is similar to this one, aside from a few differences in orthography. Both texts are in spanish. The prayer's spanish translation helps me understand it better now because I know more precisely what is meant.
I like the fact that the nature is connected with Nzambi and that the Ancestors are mentioned and praised as intermediary between the living and Nzambi Mpungu.

Mbote Mpangi. There is a book called "Palo Mayombe: El Legado Vivo de Kmt"  by Cuban author Ralph Alpizar which contains this and other prayers. I feel these prayers and their Spanish translations are right on yet some disregard them as inaccurate or inventions. I have been trying to translate these prayers word for word myself using the Spanish translations as a guide  so I can keep improving my KiKongo and understand the grammar but it's not easy. I really wish I would have found this forum earlier. The material on here is invaluable and I'm very happy with the work you have provided as I keep using it for reference. Matondo.

Yènge kiâku. Inga, that's the book I found. It's really interesting and I like the commentaries. The other book I found was "DICCIONARIO DE LA LENGUA CONGA RESIDUAL EN CUBA" by Teodoro Díaz Fabelo. Indeed, once I realized how much this site was :5star: I wished I knew it before, better late than never though. Ka diâmbu ko.

I had one person giving me feedback so far telling me that this is an Ancestral prayer charged with heavy/deep meaning.
