How do you typically organize these study sessions?  Also, how do you account for the differing proficiency levels within the group?

Twi study group 10/1/2017 @ 1pm in the akan classroom.

As for structure, we still have to work out the kinks. I would like for everyone to do conversations based on what they know, then ask questions. Afterwards, I would like to do reading and pronunciation. The last thing on my agenda would be to do a game in the forma of jeopardy. The proficiency level depends on who shows up. We typically have a similar group where most of us are beginners. We can always review the basics, and if anything feels advanced, the person can ask questions. Please remember that this is just a study group of people with a similar interest.

I think 3 sentences are too much for everyone (to start off with). We want to have participation (something simple to get others involved).

I will post 3 sentences though.

Hi Guys,

Just to confirm that class is in session tomorrow

Last session we covered greetings, being polite, saying goodbye and pronouns

Please have a practice before tomorrows session

In terms of new material, we will be going to 'Kumasi market' to do some food shopping.. So you'll learn phrases in order to help you get by..

I will throw in some info on Ghanaian culture too..

Finally, if anyone has any  special requests, please feel free to let me know

Also considering how smooth things went with Google Hangout, I plan to use that medium again tomorrow..
