What Many Ghanaians Don't Know How To Say In Twi
What many Ghanaians DON'T know how to say in TwiAvailable from: http://abibitumikasa.com/akan-twi-language-ebooks-pdfs-c-42_40_8/christaller-dictionary-of-the-akan-language-pdf-612-pages-p-2
Surprisingly many Ghanaians don't know how to say many things in Twi; the color purple, any number beyond ten, the Twi months of the year, or even some simple scientific terms. The ancient Akan people had names for celestial bodies.

Try it for yourself. Ask Twi speakers in Ghana right now how to say things such as the name for the planet "Venus," the name for the "Pleiades" constellation or "Orion" in Twi, or just the word for "planet," and most would say either that they don't know or that there is no word for that. However we have historical documentation that states otherwise.
This dictionary contains documentation of over 600 pages of Twi words in a rare, revised and greatly expanded 1933 edition, reflecting our advanced scientific and technological concepts, among other words that have become lost due to colonization and neo-colonization. It's all in this extensive searchable dictionary!
Want to know how to say any of the words mentioned above, or even the Twi name for what many call the "Great Bear" constellation? Grab a copy of this rare, out-of-print dictionary to find out those and much more!
Remember that Kmt's inevitable rebirth will not occur in the context of English. It's oxymoronic to even think it could ever be so. Join us as Abibitumi Kasa helps our people to continue our Ancestrally mandated course on the way back to our way. For the revolution will NOT be anglicized.

I have the dictionary but I'm not able to search word in the PDF.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

What PDF viewer are you using? You may want to re-run OCR using Acrobat or ABBYY. If you don't have these tools, I can send you my version which already has the optical character recognition done.

Dr. Obadele,

Meda ase! Mekyea wo. Wo ho te sɛng?

I have Adobe XI (1984-2012)and I've tried a few different ways to search for words, but it says there are no results. I'd appreciate the version with the character recognition already in it if possible.

Onyame adom, me ho yɛ! Na wo so ɛ? Aane, I've received it. Please forgive my hybrid speech. We'll remedy that soon. :D

Akyirɛ!

I'm going to get this book for my family. My wife is from Ghana and there are many words she doesn't know in Twi. The first time she heard the word computer in Twi was watching one of your videos online. Knowledge of self is key...:soldiert:

Sounds like a plan. Also keep an eye out for J.O. Anane's Advanced Akan Dictionary as that has many of the more modern technical vocabulary.

Whether shame or inspiration, it's good to see some movement going on.
