Remember Bo Derek and Jane Kennedy?  If we were outraged at Bo for wearing cornrows why are not equally or more outraged at Jane for straightening her hair to look like a eureurasian?

Because she is a womban?:D

But on the real; Ethiopians are I think, known to have developed a cocoction (natural) to straighten their hair for beauty. Closer to home the San (I've never heard the term used by a local colloquially or otherwise; we call them Ba-sarwa, a term said to be derogatory by white writers) people are also said to have a berry and juces preparation for making their hair Blacker (more beautiful) and easier to manage, i.e. comb. The Afro come (with a fist) is also known as a symbol of Black Power, made in Kmt.
