I had a good laugh initially thinking how stupid she was to try this but after reading the comments posted under the video, she could have very well been forced to do it.  She was caught in Thailand, a country that has tough anti-drug laws and imposes the death penalty for traffickers. Your thoughts???

Well, lets see if the "Rainbow" nation can demand she be sent back, doubt it. Airport security is allowed to be racist. It seems every time I go somewhere, some custom official asks me a few questions. I've never been pull to a room and searched but when you're the only Black person on a flight and the only person questioned, it's pretty obvious that someone is practicing racism. Nonetheless,  she was more than likely told it would be a "cake walk". But red flags such as Black woman in eurasian country, traveling alone and looking worried are probably what caught Customs eyes. Side note: eurasians are making all the fake hair that Kmtyws are buying, they would know what is real or fake:(

...esp when her passport pic has her with STRAIGHT short hair and she shows up with a pile of fake dreads on her head.

I know one thing, I wouldn't go to Thailand if I had locks right now. She just made it worse for all our folks with locks traveling there.

What a spectacle. They bring her out to stage a reenactment. She was used like a prop. I'm sick to my stomach.

@ asarhondo, the "Rainbow" nations cry will fall on death ears.  Just days before this story broke, China executed Janice  Bronwyn Linden, a South Kmtyw woman who was caught trying to smuggle 3kg of methamphetamine into the country a few years ago.  The South Kmtyw president demanded clemency but it was denied.

@ Oluwalu, the public viewing of the process of removing the cocaine from the young woman's fake locks was deliberate.  Not only is she a spectacle but mainly an example for others to see.

Poor woman was only paid 1200 pounds which is about $1800 u.s. dollars.  The cocaine would have been worth about $140,000 dollars if it had made it to the streets.
