Could something like this ever happen to you?  Do you have friends?  If you died, how long would it take for someone to find you?

For a woman from Grenada who died in her bedsit in ukkk, undiscovered it took three years. The  window remained open, plates sat in the sink, mail piled up at the  door, Christmas presents unopened and the TV on - while she faded into  skeletal remains on the sofa.  What a lonely way to die!!!

unfortunate! there are so many ways an alarm could have been raised... family going to see her, neighbors calling police for the smell, heck the fact that the heating and TV were on says that, even though her bills hadn't been paid in 3 yrs, the companies kept the service going... very generous companies (not like any i know). i find it odd that they suppose she died of natural causes when (1) she was 40 and (2) the coroner can't determine cause of death. they don't know whether this woman committed suicide, was murdered, nothing... yet they presume natural causes.

its really sad that there are people for whom fading from this physical realm can happen so easily that no one notices. my heart goes out to her.
