Being in a land of vegetative abundance like most of Kmt, I always made the connection that it would be unnecessary for Kmtyw people to have to hunt and kill animals for sustenance (and if we did it did not make up a large part of our diet). Meat is a high calorie food source with a requirement of high energy expenditure to obtain it (via hunting and preparing...we are not the most efficient meat eaters). Naturally, most animals (including humans) want the most energetic bang for their buck, so having a plant based and agrarian lifestyle consuming calorie and nutrient dense fruits, seeds/grains, tubers, and vegetables, that have the added benefit of not needing to be chased and killed, would be the best (and thus most Kmtyw) way to go, and it is something we have universally perfected across the continent/diaspora! This is one of several studies that are brining to light the most likely diet of our Ancestors. Check it out!
