The  Managing Director of rlg Communications, Mr Roland Agambrire, says the  company is set to take the phone tablet market by storm with the  introduction of its first Fusion tablet on the Ghanaian market.
He  admitted that it has taken the company a long time to introduce its  table onto the market but stated that the time was now ripe to hit the  market with what he described as ''a tablet with a difference.''
"Our first major tablet is the Fusion tablet. We took a long time,  almost one year, to develop this product because people who have had the  experience with other tablets want to experience this indigenous  product and so you would not want them to feel it is an inferior product  when it finally hits the market,'' he told the Daily Graphic in an  exclusive interview in Accra.
The launch of the new tablet comes at a time when some international  brands such as ipads from Apple and Galaxy tablet from Samsung have  dominated not only the Ghanaian market but the world as the most trusted  brands.
But Mr Agambire says because the company has noticed that people want  to remain in their class when it comes to the use of the tablet, ''we  have seriously considered an innovation that will excite our  customers.''
''So we took our time to consider all the things that other tablets  have had in the market and decided to put ours in a different world and  we call it the ''two world'' because we have the CDMA and the GSM, ''he  said.
He added, ''we have also taken our time to look at the capacity of  the memory of the ones on the market and as a result we have an external  four gigabyte memory that allows you to store a lot of files.''

We also looked at the android system at the time it was 2.0 and  we made ours 4.0 but this is just the beginning of our basic tab. We  also wanted to create a long lasting talk time to enable our battery  last for 48 hours because of the heavy work people might do on it  through Google. So we have 500,000 apps which is the android  application.''

It is by this extension that rlg, he said had an association with  Google so that rlg computers, phones and tablets could have the google  chrome as its basic outlook.
Mr Agambire said rlg would introduce an array of tablets such as the  Fusion two and Fusion three, all of which would have 4.0 gigabytes and  discreet size in terms of sensitivity and technology. ''We will use  other powerful systems to generate a lot of interest in the table  market.''

He said the new product would be driven by a strong marketing  strategy that would not only draw people to the Fusion table but upon  use, customers would feel the qualities and the experience that would  give them value for money.
"We took our time to look at the defects of the international brands  and used them as our case study to grow the talents and a brand," he  said and added, ''that is what we will ride on''
The rlg boss said the company was not just looking at products. ''rlg  is looking at a purposeful lifestyle that will transform the Ghanaian  mind and even allow the Ghanaian to be the ambassador and take it up as  the main objective of the product and showcase it anywhere he or she  finds himself or herself.''
"We are looking at building a solid brand in the mind of the  Ghanaians, creating a solid product that can match the so called solid  brands and carry it to the world, '' he concluded.
