The MOVE 9 will go up for parole for the second time this April or May.  We are using this years commemoration of the May 13,1985 bombing and murder of MOVE family members to pressure this government to release our family.  

They can't give us back our family that they murdered but they can give us back our innocent family members that they've kept in their prisons for the past 31 years despite their obvious innocence.  We hope you can join us on May 16th in Philly or maybe do something in your area.

 WITH(IN) THE NEXT MONTH OR SO, THE MOVE 9 WILL ONCE AGAIN GO BEFORE THE PA. PAROLE BOARD.  EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO REASON WHY THEY SHOULD NOT BE PAROLED, WE ALL KNOW THAT THEY WON'T BE PAROLED WITHOUT SERIOUS PRESSURE FROM THE PEOPLE.  THE MOVE 9 IS INNOCENT AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN IMPRISONED AT ALL, YET THEY HAVE BEEN IN PRISON FOR 31 YEARS THIS YEAR.  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!  WE'RE CALLING ON ALL FAIR-MINDED PEOPLE, ALL THOSE WHO NOT ONLY BELIEVE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BUT WILL ALSO TAKE A STAND FOR IT.  DON'T ALLOW THIS ROTTEN GOVERNMENT TO KEEP INNOCENT PEOPLE IN PRISON ANY LONGER.  CONTACT THE PA. PAROLE BOARD AND DEMAND THE RELEASE OF THE MOVE 9.  CONTACT YOUR STATE AND U.S. SENATORS, YOUR STATE AND U.S. REPRESENTATIVES TO DEMAND AN END TO THIS ABOMINABLE INJUSTICE.  FLOOD THE PAROLE BOARD WITH CALLS & LETTERS.  REMEMBER, THEY CAN ONLY GET AWAY WITH THIS INJUSTICE IF WE ALLOW THEM TO.  NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE.

Call the PA Parole Board all day on Wednesdays. Ask for names and write down the content and response of your call. If you're on Facebook blog about your call on the wall of the Free the MOVE 9 cause. Help us keep a record of these calls so we can better strategize on behalf of the MOVE 9!

The MOVE 9 are members of the MOVE Organization who have been unjustly imprisoned for the murder of police officer James Ramp during the 8/8/78 attack on MOVE headquarters. As Lynn Washington stated in the Cohort Media "MOVE" documentary, there is ample proof and knowledge that police "friendly fire" killed Ramp and not MOVE as the system wants people to believe.

There is no reason why MOVE people should not receive parole. They have excellent prison records, have kept down racial and gang violence in prison, helped inmates fight drug addiction, helped mothers and fathers establish relationships with their children on the outside, and have been an overall positive influence on the prison population, both staff and inmates. These points can be used when you speak to Chairwoman McVey. So call this Wednesday and every Wednesday. Let's tie up the phone lines in support of the MOVE 9!

Don't forget to write your letters to the parole board in conjunction with this action!
