Teaching the Children Capoeira in Chicago at Camp-gctid25423

This clip starts off at Betty Shabazz International Charter School in Chicago, IL playing the berimbaus that the children made for themselves in the summer camp. They cut, painted, clipped wire gotten from the inside of a burnt tire, cut and hollowed out gourds and then painted them and everything. This was the day where everyone got done so we decided to take them for a spin. They sounded very BlackNificent.

Then after the Capoeira Art class, the video continues with teaching the babies at New Concept. The video show us going over ginga and part of au. Hopefully we'll get some future Black Capoeiristas out of the class!

I'll update this video soon with video clips of the children you see in this picture doing Angola and playing berimbau in the final roda! They did BlackNificently if I do say so muh'self! [smiley=blackicon_peace.gif]
