                   Greetings Everyone and shalom!
First I want to give honor and Praises to Yah for his mercy for he has bestowed on me that has led me up to this day.
My name is Morathi Howie, I am from Concord North Carolina of the  United States of America. I am a 36 year old black man that decided to  give up America when I was 28 and I relocated back to my home which is  Kmt.
Those who know the history of Kmtyw Americans, they know that we  are from Kmt but they don't know which country in Kmt we are from.  We are Kmtyws turned slaves and now are ex-slaves of America, at  least physically, while many are still mental slaves with no true  identity or home.
In August 2006 I decided to move back to Zimbabwe in Kmt  and I built a life for myself. That move, ladies and gentlemen, changed  my life forever for the better.
I used to be a cable technician in America and I thought that would  be what I would do for the rest of my life, I loved the freedom of doing  such a job, I was never an office type of person.
I have a good friend and spiritual brother by the name of Ramzu  Yunus. I have known him for about 15 years now. Ramzu had been visiting  Zimbabwe since the year 2000 and he always wanted me to go with him.
So, I purchased a passport in 2000 thinking that it was the time Yah  made for me to go, but because of other circumstances I was unable to  go.

Well, in 2006 I lost my job being a cable technician because my  driver's license got suspended. During that time, Ramzu was home  visiting, so I just called him up to check up on him.
When I called him, he happened to be on the other end with Delta Airlines, so he quickly says to me; "Peace  Morathi, listen I don't have much time, I am on the other end of Delta  Airlines, are you trying to go with me to Zimbabwe, I have to leave  soon? " The question caught me off guard I must say.
I had about 3 minutes to make up my mind. So, I took a deep breath and said "Yeah bro, get me a ticket, let me give it a try." He said cool " You can try it for a month, if you don't like it, you can just return, I will be by to get you tomorrow."
So, that left me half a day to tell family and friends I was leaving,  since I had no attachments besides family, it was kind of easy since I  wasn't in a relationship and had no kids.

So, I made my call to tell everyone I was leaving, of course  people thought I was crazy, but my mother supported me and made it  easier for me to go. I was very pleased that she supported me.
The next day, Ramzu was there like clockwork, we had to drive to New  York to catch our flight and during that time, I kept saying to myself "  Morathi, what in the hell have you gotten yourself into this time?"  Because even though Ramzu had shown me pictures of Zimbabwe and that it  had actual buildings, seeing National Geographics I was brainwashed. I saw half naked Kmtyws, living in huts and riding elephants!!
So we finally made it to New York and boarded the plane, and I was on my way to Kmt.
On August 16 2006 I touched down into Kmt.
When I touched down and went through the airport, it was the  calmest feeling that I never had before in my life, something within me  immediately let me know I was home!

It is a feeling I can't explain. Being a black man taken away from  home for over 500 years ago to be back in Kmt now, my spirit let me  know that immediately and my DNA spoke to me! I now know the feeling of  what other Kmtyw Americans meant when they said "As soon as you get off the plane, you feel at home in Kmt," I got that same feeling.
Zimbabwe is such a beautiful place and my eyes have seen the Promised  Land! I was suppose to only stay for a month, I loved it so much that I  stayed for 3 months! I called my mother when I got settled and she said  "I know my baby, you are my last born and I can hear it in your voice that you have found a new home."
At the time, I thought it was too soon to say that, but she was  right, I had found a new home! It is now the year 2013 and I have been  living in Zimbabwe for 7 years. I found my wife here and we have two  beautiful young sons by the name of Zamani Malik Howie (5) and Kamau  Morathi Howie (3).
Being an Kmtyw American living in Kmt, we hear that lie being  told that our brothers and sisters hate us here, that is so far from the  truth! They love us here and want more of us to come home, they  always want us to give good reports of Kmt instead of what the media  portrays.

They also ask about America and dream of going, I only let them know  that America is not what they see on TV, it is not all peaches and  cream, if you get a chance to go visit, you will see what I mean.
Zimbabwe is a very peaceful place, the people are very kind and peaceful and they have a President by the name of His Excellency Robert Mugabe,  who in 1997 decided along with the war veterans that fought for the  freedom of Zimbabwe to take the land back from their former  slave/colonizers and give it back to the people.
This of course was not approved by America and Britain, so they put  economic sanctions on the country to try and force regime change of  getting rid of Mugabe but he is still standing strong at the age of 89  and can outjog most 25 year olds!
He is a hero to his people and other Kmtyws and abroad including  Kmtyw Americans that know his struggle to liberate his people. Me  and my other spiritual brothers had the honors of meeting His  Excellency for 2 hours in his office in 2009 and take pictures with him.

Meeting such a hero was the biggest moment of my life besides my two  boys being born. He will go down as the best Kmtyw Leader ever after  it is all said and done. The new Constitution is now in Zimbabwe and I  am now considered a citizen because I have been married to my wife for 5  years going on 6 which was such a happy moment for me as well!
I am here with other brothers from America by the names of Yahkaziel  and Yahzeez along with the brother responsible for me being here Ramzu. We  are just 4 regular brothers from America that decided it was time for  us to leave America and our spirits lead us all to Zimbabwe.
I did not know Yahzeez and Yahkaziel until 2008 and met them here in  Zimbabwe, never knew them in America but now we are true brothers in  spirit here.
And there are other Kmtyw Americans that live here too, in total  there are about 8 of them that I have met. I have visited 6 countries in  Kmt, Zambia, South Kmt, Ethiopia, Egypt, Dubai and my new home  Zimbabwe. I would tell anyone that if you have never visited Kmt, do  it before you leave this earth!
Try your best to put all the negative images out of your mind that the media has created about this BEAUTIFUL place.

Yes, Kmt has its problems and challenges like any other place but over all, it is such a wonderful place.
Zimbabwe is a MAGNIFICENT place to visit or live! I am thankful for  the path that Yah chose for me, I can only give thanks and praises for  the path he chose for me, because I know I didn't do this on my own.
I hope to one day meet more people especially Kmtyw Americans to  one day come to visit their true home and I know some will make it their  permanent home just like I did!
Peace and Blessings to you all and in the Hebrew tongue Shalom!

"Since most of our conscious modes of conceptualizing, acting and moving about are conditioned in part by our language, to use the language of another culture is to use that culture's ideas; and to use another culture's ideas in place of one's own is to relegate the latter to a position of de facto inferiority."
