The walk through the community was impactful for me to see. I was looking at the onlookers as you was being walked through the streets.  I am was thinking that the talking drum was telling the story of what was happening to all that can hear.  It reminded me of the power of the drum and why it was intentionally suppressed during our enslavement.  The leader as it seemed with the staff leading the walk had the total command and respect from the others in the walk.   I was watching as the brother carrying what I think was an incense burner and how he was taking direction from him.  I was curious as to why the one brother had his arm wrapped with a white rag it seemed.  

Then the portion where it seemed that there was a discussion of the brother with the staff giving a testimony to who you are was interesting as well.  It was when the walk stopped at the elders house. Then the elder came out and poured libations.  I wish I could understand what he said.  One day.  Is that what they were doing? Sort of stating your character and what you do?  I think I heard they same your are a Dr. And teach?   The respect for the culture and tradition was amazing to see.  We have not been defeated!

This is dope. I am thinking about the symbolism of the walk through the community. My dad tells me back in his when you were to be enstooled, on the day you had to run while people in the community chased you up till they got you. For him that made it more interesting. I was thinking the walk through the community with the man holding onto you is sonehow a renactment of that.
Also, did the issue of your hair ever come up in the enstoolment proceedings?

Thanks, I thought so too. Especially the hand drone camera's perspective. They still use the terminology "kye ɔhene", but now it's more metaphorical that an actual capturing. I agree that the holding on is symbolic of that.
Only once when someone said that they should put the powder on the top of my head and someone responded that they shouldn't because of my hair. The whole process was a dynamic moving consensus as there were suggestions being made on the fly and whatever was decided upon carried the day.
