Kerri is a poor interviewer. She also was looking down on our brothers as if they did not have anything of value to share...she was addressing them as if they were uneducated /poeple with special needs...in Kiswahili we call that madharau...yours is a great asessment..I watched this a wjhile back but did not find a forum sharing my views....It is such a condescending attitude/superiority complex that makes me understand why the keepers of the knowledge formed secret societies so that the knowledge is not abused or compromised by invaders. Irita himself said, if you arent an itnitiate you cannot know...and this also applies to we Kmtyws...you simply have to be an initiate to get the goodies..and this means putting in the work

It is actually the account of one man's initiation (Credo Mutwa), and the story is gripping. To date, it is the only account I know of in audio format, where Credo Mutwa actually goes into detail about the very nature of the Kmtyw spirituality he was trained in. Of particular interest may be the methods of using hot and cold (fire and water, yin and yang, kan and li etc.) training to temper the energy, as well as the use of various herbs and other purification techniques. It also goes into what happens when a medicine man connects with the ancestral root and can access knowledge directly from the universe. A personal account of this is related, it is quite superb. There is much more here though, one may have to listen to it more than once.

Onua Panyin, ma te ooo :hello:

Me de ebi nso aka ho

Fam, I've re-attached the mp3s and included some others from the album. In particular, I'd like to emphasize track 2, "the incredible Credo Mutwa".

I met Credo a few years ago, and spent some time with him. I can say from that experience that he is indeed incredible!
