@ Lloyd98, the rituals in Kmtyw traditional spirituality are powerful and do work when done correctly.  Unfortunately, they are not always done for good and for the benefit of the community.  

@ NyameNti, you should watch it.  It is indeed comical but also a serious issue because it touches on how Kmtyw spirituality can be used to cause harm and problems for others. The priest or whoever put the spell on the woman assisted in possibly  breaking up a family.  I wonder what is the status of the relationship between the husband and wife  now?

The same thing is also a well known as a Yoruba anti-infidelity medicine. There it's called mágùn (don't climb). There was a Nollywood movie out back in the early 2000s about it as well.

I seem to have misunderstood what actually happened.  It was my understanding that the man had a priest put a spell on the woman so she would give into the man but your statement makes sense.  The Sista thought she was being slick...LOL...well, she was slick but got stuck!  To bad the husband had to use the medicine in the first place.  He probably suspected something all along.  

Similar stories abound throughout Kmt.
