This is the purpose of this conference - for like minded people to come up with a life plan and a business plan to support themselves and their families when they are ready to make that move. I don't have to tell you that America's time is coming - THEY TELL YOU THAT every day and as an American citizen, you know the dirt we do around the world on a daily basis... you also know what goes around comes around. We (as Americans) have been greatly BLESSED as a nation but we have enemies WITHIN OUR OWN COMMUNITY that are worse than ISIS, WALKING THE STREETS who don't care who you are, how old, male or female. People that live in the cities especially, Chicago, Detroit, Pensacola, FL & Baltimore, (where I'm from originally), DC, Atlanta, Houston, LA, Miami, even Mobile, Tampa, New Orleans, Mississippi, it's just BRUTAL.
I don't know how we made it thru as a race, I really don't, but we did.

BUT NOW, the paradigm has shifted.

The police state has taken over and the criminals are more brazen & just plain CRAZY. We've got all kinds of designer drugs floating around and the media is targeting our children with alcohol, 'medical marijuana' that's sold to everyone as cookies, brownies & candy, bombarding us/them with confusing lifestyle 'choices' and hey, you know the deal. I'm preaching to the choir. It's TIME, IT REALLY IS. All we need is a PLACE and I have found one. As I said, I have lived in Dakar, Senegal for 17 years, single mom, divorced, deadbeat ex (no child support, never called or visited the kids, his choice), and I reared 3 children here by myself, alone. I moved here as a CHOICE – I didn't know a soul. I didn't speak the language and I had never even HEARD of Senegal before I came here on a visit as a tourist.

I stayed for a month with my oldest son and decided when I got back to America and passed thru the crazy manhunt for a murder (that passes for 'normal') at the Atlanta airport that I was leaving and never coming back. That's exactly what I did, 3 months later. I sold everything, packed up the kids and WALKED AWAY.

I understand everyone can't be like me and to be quite honest, it was a pretty fool hardy move but with the Grace of God, everything worked out and the 'children' are now high functioning, intelligent, adults, speaking 3 languages and doing quite well for themselves. I am one of only a handful of black Americans here in Senegal that aren't connected to the US embassy, an NGO or any other agency. Interestingly enough, here in Dakar, of the others that I know, all are women. I'm the only one that didn't marry a Senegalese man and did my journey 100% solo with very little family support.

If I did it, SO CAN YOU and I am here to HELP! This is the purpose of this conference – one on one with me and business planners, real estate agents, school trips, visits to medical facilities, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW to make an informed, intelligent choice about WHERE to locate your family.

What I am is a black woman that KNOWS there are alternatives to the life our people face in America and if YOU want to get OUT, I can help you but to do that you have to TRUST ME. That's why I want you to do a background check. I am publically reviewed on TripAdvisor in 3 or 4 different places and The Lonely Planet as well. There isn't ANYONE more qualified to help our people leave the US than me. I am not a tourist, I live here, FULL TIME, 17 years. I don't go back and forth to the US to make money and come back then call myself an 'expert' – I make a living HERE for 17 years so I KNOW how the system works and how to get around it when necessary. I'm also a business person, and have watched the ebb and flow for a long time here in Dakar. My contacts run deep as well and no matter what your interest/hobby/business is, IF you are successful where you are, you can be successful here IF you target specific niche markets. Everything's not going to work here just like everything doesn't work there. You have to cater to the market. For example, everyone thinks selling ice will make them rich... like Senegalese don't know what ice is. But because they are floating in and out of the country and don't live here, they don't realize that ice is sold differently and in a different form. They wouldn't know that because they don't LIVE HERE full time like I do.

Only heaven knows how many folks lost money on that foolishness & folly because they asked SENEGALESE if it was a good idea. They think EVERYTHING is a good idea because that's the culture in Kmt. They are always nice and agreeable, they aren't going to be rude and tell you the truth – and that's how people lose money (and why the US government NEVER has good intelligence); our people don't work together, reaching out to each other before they come so when they arrive, there is a connection. Instead, we disburse into the Kmtyw community are isolated and dependent on total strangers... I may be a stranger too but I have a REPUTATION for honesty and trustworthiness.

Can you say that about random people that are the cousin of the guy that works at the CVS around the corner? Sometimes that's about as deep as we go and depend 100% on what you find on google.

Real life isn't on google is it? Think about it and let's change that.

I want to build a black nation here in Senegal and I want YOU to be successful here. The only way to do that is thru business & education FIRST and this conference is the path to that goal. ACTIVITIES:

Day 1, Thursday February 11th: Tour of Goree Island & Kmtyw Drumming – Goree Island has the famous 'Door of No Return' and the visit will center upon the slave trading background and history here in Senegal. Afterwards we'll go to a local cultural center for authentic Kmtyw drumming lessons and watch the drummers and dancers later as they rehearse.
11am to 8pm then head back to hotel for dinner at Chez Loutcha; not too far from the hotel and we'll discuss what we've seen, the schedule for the next day and we're finished for the evening.

Day 2, Friday February 12th: City tour of Dakar, Kmtyw Renaissance Monument and Art Galleries w/hospitals and clinics & a short meeting that evening at 6pm to discuss what we saw, tell us what you are interested in business wise and set the agenda for the rest of the week. Lunch at Ngor Restaurant, Dinner our or catered, 5,000cfa per person.

Day 3, Saturday February 13th: We'll have an independent realtor to speak about buying real estate in Senegal, the best areas to buy and she wll answer questions from audience regarding rentals and buying land/houses. SERIOUS PARTICIPANTS can schedule time during or after the conference with her DIRECTLY to go on apartment & site visits.

Afterwards a realtor from Diamnadio Agency (the housing development posted on the Kmtyws in America 2 page, $25,000 to $30,000 homes including land, free and clear) will speak and explain their program; afterwards we will all go to the housing site in person. If some people want to see other properties/apartments in other areas we'll schedule that afterwards (returning to Ouest Foire, the Diamando office) either by group or individually.

Participants will be responsible for additional transportation costs and paying for the time of the realtors (split among everyone that wants to continue looking). Private transportation will be arranged by the hour for those that want to go, (again, split among the participants) 3 or 4 people to a taxi.

For the rest (the people that aren't interested in seeing the neighborhoods and apartments/homes) and we will continue on to the shopping mall where a speaker from DSTV will talking about the rates and services for English language programming, along with their international shipping services (a partnership with DHL). In addition, we'll have another speaker from TIGO, one of our 3 local, phone companies (2 are Kmtyw owned!) who will talk about telephone & internet services in Dakar.

Afterwards you can go back to the hotel to relax and/or wait for the youth to come back from Bandia Wildlife Park.

Your day will be free from that point on and you can explore downtown with one of our guides or on your own. Dinner can be catered, at a restaurant we've been to previously or try another that you have discovered while out.

Day 4, Sunday February 14th: We will go Lake Rose (Pink Lake) & Turtle Village and also look at housing/land in that area along the way. We WILL NOT be stopping for real estate visits as we will have the youth with us during this time and that's BORING! Lol! Point out anything you'd like to see later and we can make arrangements with Dieynaba, the realtor, to take you back another time. This particular area however is another up and coming residential section that's growing quickly. Many people are selling family land or property they bought years ago (FSBO) so private deals and favorable financing agreements can be made here, just like in the US and everywhere else in the western world. My only cautionary comment is that it's FAR from the city and secluded from bilingual/English speaking schools.

Afterwards we'll have lunch/w pool available at Lake Rose – BRING YOUR BATHING SUITS if you or the children would like to swim in the lake (no more than 10 minutes because of the high salt content) or in the pool at the restaurant (free when eating lunch!).

Other activities at Pink Lake are: Camel riding over the sand dunes of the Sahel Desert to the Atlantic Ocean, Quads, and Horseback Riding. (NOT INCLUDED IN CONFERENCE FEES - email for photos).

You can select the activities of your choice and pay directly when we have finished the official tour of the salt mining activities at the lake. When we've all finished there we'll go to my favorite wildlife conservation park and then back to the city for a free afternoon for looking at business opportunities, rental apartments, shopping with escorts/guides & arrange a night out at a club, seeing a concert or other activity for Valentine's Day on an individual/group basis. These additional activities are NOT INCLUDED

IN CONFERENCE FEES.

Catered dinner will still be available for those that want to stay in and relax.

Day 5, Monday, February 15th: 2 hour Wolof/French class to teach basic language skills and get everyone used to what the language sounds like. We'll learn counting & greetings and money in both languages so when you hit the markets and look at properties/apartments on your own (Wednesday+) you can negotiate like a pro!

Afterwards, we'll visit the Black American owner of the Senegalese American Bilingual School (SABS) here in Dakar. Her name is Stephanie Khan and she's been living and working in Senegal with her Senegalese husband for 30 years. SABS is a private school that goes from elementary to twelfth grade and is one of the FEW schools here in Dakar that offers a recognized American High School diploma, has SAT/ACT testing and college recruiters come on the regular from the US and Canada. This means your children will not have any problems transferring back into the American system for college even though they will be going to school outside of the US.

We will have lunch at SABS & then go to IQRA Bilingual Academy, just around the corner from SABS. Also owned by a Black American women as well this school is a Muslim school but with traditional American curricula as well. (SABS is secular, non denominational, IQRA is Islamic),

IF enough people want to continue visiting schools we can go by the International School of Dakar ($25,000 per year per student), Voice Music School (just up from ISD next to a French/English bilingual school), Dakar Academy (Christian boarding school, about $20,000 a year) & Hann Mariste, a French school that will be setting up an English speaking program within their International Baccalaureate francophone system.

Afterwards we will go for a short trip to Hann Zoo & Botanical Gardens (3pm to 5pm) and take a rest, let the kids (and adults!) feed the animals and relax. We'll go back into town and have a late afternoon brunch/dinner at Terrou Bi, see the lights at MagicLand, look at the Serpent Island and watch the sun set over the ocean.

Day 6, Tuesday, February 16th: Have a discussion about religion in Senegal, visit the Catholic Cathedral downtown and point out other Catholic schools & Christian churches in Dakar along the way for those that are concerned about being able to conduct their religious activities in the same manner that they are in the united snakes. (Every type of church is here, from the Anglicans to Mormons, 7th Day Adventists, Jehovah's Witness, Catholic, Methodist, Protestant, Baptist). We will continue on to Touba to see mosques & libraries built and maintained 100% by the Senegalese people for a better of understanding of the culture of Kmtyw Islam, which is quite DIFFERENT from aAmwic Islam, particularly when it comes to the rights of women (don't worry - you are TOTALLY FREE here in Senegal although you will have to cover your hair and legs to visit the Mosques). By the way, many people visit Buddhist temples, Indian Ashrams, Greek, Japanese, eureurasiaan places to look at the architecture with no problem. Please keep the same spirit of open mindedness when visiting the Islamic Mosques here in Senegal - I PROMISE YOU the beauty of the structures and artistry of the monuments RIVAL those of the Taj Mahal & Timbuktu and you are going to LOVE IT!

We'll have Lunch/Brunch at the famous Le Massa Massa restaurant in Thies and then head back to the hotel in Dakar.
Dinner will be catered @ 5,000/$10 per person or for people that want to go out, they can go to Chez Loutcha or another restaurant.

NIGHTLIFE:
Dakar is internationally known for its clubs & concerts so there will ALWAYS be plenty to do at night! It will be Black History Month here as well (catering to the tourists that come during this time) and there will be programs & events scheduled all over town. We can add those activities on later and arrange escorts for those that wish to attend. Also the hotel is around the corner from a popular venue for live music and I'll check the schedules of several places to see what's going on at the time of our conference as we get closer to the date. I will make escorts available (at an additional fee that you can split based on where you are going and for how long) to arrange transportation & pay your entrance fees/buy tickets or whatever you need and get you safely back to your hotel in the evening. You or your party will be responsible to pay for the cover charge for your escort and a non-alcoholic drink (these are good Muslim men & women!), along with any tips you wish to include afterwards.
