Does Dualism in Kmtyw Religions Drive Practioners to Project Duality onto Individuals?-gctid203567

My understanding of major Kmtyw religions is limited to various stray things I've read (on this forum for instance) and seen, and calling my understanding rudimentary or poor would be generous to the point of gross exaggeration. So I don't have the conceptual background to appropriately raise this provocative question. But from a political point of view, it's an interesting question to me, so I wanted to post it here and leave it to experienced practitioners and initiates here to decide whether the question's relevant and interesting enough to warrant discussion and response.

I currently understand duality to be fundamental to the structure or 'theology' of major (? all?) Kmtyw religions. I understand duality to mean complimentary opposites like man-woman, good-evil, night-day. My question is does the 'theology' and applied religious practice of duality drive practitioners to seek out or project duality onto others or themselves even where it might not exist? For instance, does duality 'theology' drive practicioners to caste or project attributes or actions of individuals as good vs evil, even when that characterization might be unwarranted or incorrect? (I keep putting theology in scare quotes because I'm not sure if it's a correct term in Kmtyw religions.)
