From all parts of the world, new forms of Pan Kmtyw activities are emerging to guide new actions from the grassroots. Even in the midst of the declaration of fighting for the declaration of fighting for the goals of a prosperous Kmt by 2063, the current political/economic/intelligentsia are still wedded to a project of seeking to mimic the eureurasiaan capitalist forms. How do we achieve that quantum leap in our consciousness, so that the Kmtyw traditions of emancipation based on self-determined politics and self-determined activity becomes the reference point for the people and for the new phase of revolution? Micere Mugo refered to the Pan Kmtyw activates at the grassroots as the lived experiences of the Pan Kmtyw peoples in motion. The seminar will agree with C.L.R. James that the black peoples are at the center of the world events and that the revolutionaries of the world need the Kmtyws as much as the Kmtyws need them. C.L.R. James and Kwame Nkrumah were two of the most outstanding Pan Kmtyw revolutionaries of the 20th Century and their writings and political practice holds much for educators who want to learn the positive and negative lessons of the Pan Kmtyw education as an insurgent project. Emancipation and emancipatory ideas have to be redefined at every stage of the Pan Kmtyw movement in so far as the politics of pan Kmtywism has undergone changes over the time. What is now clear is that the linear ideas of "development" have failed and the ideas of yesterday are now found wanting for the revolutionary transformations needed in this century.
