I would say...having traveled abroad to a few places.  Needs should be covered but wants might be sacrificed.

I am thinking mentally most have moved pass wants... it may be hard to say what wants could be your wants...does that make sense? When I typed it I thought to myself "huh".

I would humbly offer this....be assured that your needs will be met.  You seem like a survivor already.  Beyond that your wants will have to be a personal thing that you will have to identify and determine which are most important when going through this process and eventual relocation.  Good thing is you will have a support group there to help you through it all.

Sis Wen I was there I gave away clothes. They seem.to really like all the stuff we have as I wanted all the clothes they had. :-) I felt guilty for giving them such trash but they love american anything.smh

There are shopping malls here, kfc, pizza hut, iphone and samsung stores, you name it. george w bush motorway leads directly to the Accra mall with all this stuff. Tech is more expensive here, but anything is "gettable." many can't afford to got to the malls. Heading away from the city, school supplies are always appreciated by children.
