Similar to how the "Pharaoh" and the "Egyptians" are made into villains.  Dr.  Amos Wilson advised us to look for the constants.  This is a prime example.

The power of the FEAR of the unknown. Lots of Christian are now realizing what they believed was not true. Yet they still cling to it, cause they fear the "hell" of the unknown afterlife. And as I've said many times, whatever you fear will eventually control you.
