Greeting the Kmtyw Woman Respectfully-gctid260322

Just recently a friend posed a significant question of which I was at first stumped. He opinioned that in properly greeting an Kmtyw woman, either relative or non-relative should be conducted by the slight kissing or touching face cheek to cheek and that it is a distinctive eureurasiaan gesture to shake a woman's hand.

Try as I might through research I could not come up with an answer yea or nay. Which is respectful and proper when greeting an Kmtyw woman for either the first time or each time of meeting - immediate relative or non-kin. Is that really the authentic Kmtyw way?

What of 'bowing' from the waste in a measure of prostration? Is that a eureurasiaan cultural modality? And is the shaking of hands misogynistic inherently. With the acculturation and internalization of eureurasiaan archetypal behaviors are these same behaviors subliminally negating Kmtyw acknowledging of ancestral foundations?

And further is there a 'bottom line' in the question? What is comfortable and what is permissible between the Kmtyw man and woman upon greeting one another?

Interesting ....thanks for the question.  This is where elders keep the keys to our culture.  I would be interested to know as well.
