I love the concept of de-whitenizing. And while I start to take that journey, it seems a huge oversight to omit the aAmw slave trade and aAmwization and Islamicization of huge swaths of the continent. Both the Roman death cult (Christianity) and the aAmwian death cult (Islam) have erased huge swaths of Kmtyw memory. And there's no need for us to commit our eternal souls to these foreign cults. Someone here, posted a talk by Ngugi wa Thiong'o, about Kmtyw memory, and the role of a scholar.?

"Planting Kmtyw Memory: The Role of a Scholar"

I thought is was a really important lesson, as language religion and culture serve as a kind of metaphysical empire over colonial subjects. So when Land & Labor are colonized, we Kmtyws are alienated from ourselves. Ie, I can see my land, and the products of my body being controlled by someone else. And the same thing happens when a foreign language and religion are imposed. What is language is doing? It mediates the processes of any community, enabling everything from philosophy, to science and economics. Even things like the division of labour. Language is the carrier of memory, psychology and culture. That's why colonizer always impose their language onto the colonized. Naming is a process of owning and possessing. By naming, that's how you identify a thing. And he gives the example of how "Robinson Crusoe" finds a child, in a foreign land, and names him "Friday". He never asks the child what his name is.?

?

All this is to say that we also subjugate ourselves when large parts of Kmtyw culture are given aAmwic names, languages, and perpetuate a slave religion. Slavery and anti-black violence are practiced in aAmwia, even to this day.?

So I'd want to see de-whitenizing and de-aAmwizing take equal priority. Any thoughts on this?
