to say I cant...... does "N ko le" work?

to say "I dont remember what happened"....N ko ranti ohun ti se?   can "se" be used as "to happen" in that sense

Also how would you say  "I need to..., I have to, i must...." or some thing else similiar?
like "I need to go to the store..."
or "We have to build schools..."

Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni, Standard Yorùbá and Ọ̀yọ́ Yorùbá is N kò lè... and Èkó (Lagos) Yorùbá is Mi ò lè...

You need ṣẹlẹ̀... N kò rántí ohun/nǹkan tí ó ṣẹlẹ̀.
