greetings oluwo kwame, an oromo friend of mine, told me that the language he speaks is different than amaharic,doctor ayele bekerie in ethiopic an Kmtyw writting system, talks about the origins of amaharic and aAmwic as being an offshoot of amaharic, it was mentioned to me that our great ancestors,our great pharaohs spoke kushite language,by my friend,who i met when i was living in calgary,can u be kind enuff to explain to me about the kushite/pharaonic language and how could i learn:):hello::62_62:

I wouldn't argue that the "language" is Kushitic. From my observations, the Madu Ndele (mdw ntr) language is a lingua franca, initially a trade language that went through the stage of pidgeon, creole and decreolization like Kiswahili. Linguists like Dr. Mubabinge Bilolo argues that it is in fact a Bantu language. So does Dr. Rkhty Amen. My observation of the language tends to agree. Alan Anselin would argue that it is closer to Chadic. Others argue it is closer to Beja. But the language being a lingua franca, it would have the characteristics of many languages.
