So... I've had this book for less than one day and I cannot stop reading it. It's a blacknificent resource full of lessons, exercises, vocabulary words, culture points, and proverbs. Although there is no replacement for actual class time (making sure pronunciation and intonations are as close to native speakers), this text complements everything we learn @ Abibitumi Kasa Twi class very well.

I saw it listed as a reference on one of the papers Okyeame kwame wrote, and I found/bought it online . Type the title in the search menu and something should pop up. I know a lot of ppl only deal with "credit" cards, so it be difficult to get.

This was one of my first Twi books. Read it thoroughly several times. A lot of the lessons here are built on the dialogue, vocab, exercise model of the book and are responses to some of the critiques i had of it. But about 10 years ago, you wouldn't see me without seeing the dark orange book...

I never met Prof, but her daughter attended a poetry reading I gave in Twi about 5-6 years ago. I asked her to thank her mother for getting me started...:hello:

This was one of my text books while studying in Ghana. I still have it and study it often. I hear it also has tapes that go along with it (although I don't have them). I also have another book that she wrote for Fante Twi.
