He's speaking to a world of folks that probably do see these symbols as being just as "weird" as his research findings, we he implies will be viewed as "gobbledygook" to most observers.  

I'm going to give this Brother all the benefit of the doubt there is, for he is opening up a realm of scientific truth that would otherwise be denied or hidden to science.  And his extraordinary observations are obviously Kmtyw-centered...

Let's look past the minor stuff and stay focused on the depth of his findings.
