Mekyea mo nyinaa!

Mo ho te sɛn?

Mepa mo kyɛw, I am an ios developer and I'm being to design an mobile asante twi learning app. I want the app to go more in depth with the twi language content and cultural background, much like onua obadele does. I'm working on a possible partnership with ɔkyerɛkyerɛfoɔ obadele, but i wanted to ask you all what kinds of things you would like to see in asante twi learning app to assit in your learning process?

Meda mo ase pii

We need to talk as I'm working with Obadele on his e-book for Akan Intro. These two projects need to have synergy. And you need to hear what we're doing on that front. Plus I have a boat load of ideas specific to the app.

Also met your Agya yesterday during study group, it like two degrees of separation at most in here.

Ampa o! I agree, we should find a time to meet and find common ground!

Yaa ɔba. Me ho yɛ, meda wo ase. Wa nso ɛ?  One thing I have liked in other apps is the progression of pronouncing words. For example saying the word slow by syllable first, then repeating it a little faster, then regular speed.  Another great tool is association of picture to represent the word being learned.

Then for me it is tough to learn sentence structure (grammar). Maybe a fill in the blank or choose the right grammar section?

My initial thoughts.

Looks like my office will be shut down tomorrow because of the supposed blizzard coming so if you have some time tomorrow let me know.

Just thought of it. From yesterday's class. What would be nice is an Akan Twi dictionary app where you can look up words and see plurals, adjectives..etc. Huge tasks I know.

As of right now those things will be included in the e-book.
