Who says Brother Wudjau is a scholar?  His errors does not reflect poorly on the hard work yall are doing in this field.

How did this cat get to have some connection to us? Whoever his publisher is needs to be alerted and if he is a student of Dr. Rkhty Amen, this needs to be brought to her attention as well. I doubt he's at any institution, but if he is they would need to know as well. Anyone affiliated with him needs to go ahead and jump ship before it crashes and burns and those with ties get implicated through guilt by association. There is something to be said for having some method for separating the legit from the charlatans. One may wonder if they are plants to pull the actual workers back. This is incontrovertible and damning evidence if I ever saw any.

I agree on all of these points. I was concerned that folks who seek to discredit the study of kmt and our work to reclaim and reconstruct Kmtyw history and culture might use this (along with the other pseudo-scholars' work) to discredit our work.

I remember in graduate school reading a critique of so-called Acrocentric scholarship that focused on profoundly obscure individuals who were not scholars nor representatives of the paradigm to delegitimatize Kmtyw-centered scholarship. There have been other, more high profile attacks that focused on intellectually dishonest individuals that were used to compromise the work of advancing Kmtyw-centered curricula in schools . While this won't prevent us from doing our best work, it may impact the impressions of people who could and should benefit from and contribute to our project.

I agree with all the previous comments on this, I don't know what to call it, let's say ridiculousness. Not to give the Brother any accuses, but some people don't know how to write a book. Plus the font size in the book is too large and he has double line spacing. The amount of pages would be cut more than half if a more standard font size was used and it had single line spacing. Possibly done to inflate the pages of the book therefore to justify an inflated cost to the buyer. The book is 366 pages, it should be about 160-170 pages tops. I let it slide when I first saw this but now I have to call everything I see in it into question.

That with the poor scholarship, what a damn shame.

Brother Wudjau already address this situation on youtube and Facebook i think. It was a printing error. I just got his book cited allen and few others. peace and luv ~lsj

I can't speak to all that other stuff the author was accused of in the video. Since I wasn't aware of all the controversy surrounding his work.

At least there is an acknowledgement of plagiarism (accident by his account which I can believe) and he went about correcting it. But for what whatever reason I received the 1st edition even though the 2nd edition was out prior by 2 months.

He was sloppy in editing his proof. Still not acceptable but seems he was not trying to be deceitful.

Greetings
I understand what you mean. I am trying to be open minded and give the brother a chance. I do understand how it can be seen as intentional deceit

Your assessment is correct, bro. Wudjau doesn't know how to write. Even with the changes in the second edition, the entire first chapter is from James Allen work. If bro. Wudjau does not have a strong grasp of Kemetian writing history, he could simply leave that section out and dive right into the grammar.  I'm very disappointed and will now scrutinize our "scholars" better before purchasing anything from them.

One more comment I have is writing is not an easy task. It's probably why I admittedly have so much difficulty releasing some of the stuff I have written to the public. For fear of having critiques and scrutiny as we're giving this Brother. So while I admire him wanting to share his knowledge when you do share you have to be on point, especially as it comes to our legacy. Since it has been so used and abused by other folks for so long.

He said in the video he did all the edits himself. And said he was eager to get it published. That was the biggest mistake he made. You must have a team or at least one other person review your work before releasing it to the public. What's called an editorial review (copy and line edits). He said he's writing a book on Mdw Ntr grammar, hopeful he doesn't make the same mistake again. Some of these books we read take several years to get to the finished product. We're not going to correct all the wrongs and reveal all the re-discoveries in your legacy in a day. The eagerness we have sometimes needs to be left at the door.

This is also what I believe is behind the current misuse and abuse of Htp. I think that this is an attempt to disrupt any mooring, no matter how tenuous with an Kmtyw cultural reality that is not mediated by Eureurasians. This link severed via an act of delegitimization might be useful in negating the idea that Kmt is a relevant or useful source to inform our ways of being in the world. And as these things tend to go, the de-centering of Kmt usually serves to illuminate Eureurasia as the source of all light and meaning.
