Can we introduce quite important and interesting programs relating to our ancient folklores and plays like Ampe, oware, ludu, dame, tsaskele et al? We have a cool serene at elmina called One-Kmt resort owned by the repatriated Kmtyw Amerikan sistha Imahkus Njinga Ababio.. we need to return to our old way of living. This can help us introduce alot of ppl to this great app so we can get the numbers. Meda'ase ✊✊

To change that, either regulars have to change and reconceptualize the site and interactions here or new folks have to come who don't have the preconceived notions/biased notions against connecting with others/each other on the forums. :soldierg:

ps - i was recently considering converting from the current forum format to more of a wordpress blog type forum where myself and maybe a few others produce article-style content and just let people comment on it.
Sounds interesting

Thats why i was pushing for the agenda of organising a health walk in the name of the forum just to encroach the masses. How many consciously awaken brethrens can boldly claim familiarity with Abibitumi kasa? Compared to the mass download of other social media apps? I understand the numbers doesnt matter like the readiness and zeal. But there must be other alternatives to reach our audience because when i first heard of this forum it was through a medium on facebook.

Join us in a call about how we each can help all users on Abibitumi Kasa about feel comfortable sharing and engaging regardless of where we are in our independent journey.

This will be a good feed in session to a larger session next week about an international engagement.

It's awesome  that a couple of people dialed into the Conference number. If folks are in the spirit of engaging in ways to catalyze others, I'm all for it. I'll try and ring the numbers that came up today and we'll see what we can come up with so that maybe Tuesday's meeting can be even better!

I love the energy in this thread. This is the Kmtyw Liberation site. I love that we're being solutions-oriented.

I think it's good but I will like to have more conversation in the forum or chat and get to know each other more

Any ideas on how to accomplish that or would you like to spearhead the effort?
For my part, a suggestion would be to use a picture of yourself as your avatar so we could see who you are (i.e. get to know you more).

True, but ones already have their photo and we still not communicating. But if you think it will change the vibe , I will change the avatar.

I feel one suggestion can be: If everyone post a topic   And we formulate a conversation on it. Everyone can take turns . Food for thought

Mekyea mo nyinaa. (I great you all)

I think part of the thing that may get people into the more social aspect of Abibitumi kasa is the UI (user interface). I think some may come to the website and or the mobile application and see the forum format and may associate the site to the something that is more "serious". So maybe some changes to the UI will give more of social networking feel to it.
